Transferring After Training

Hi!!! I am currently waiting to get my training dates for AA. When I originally applied what drew me the most to American was the fact they had a base in PHX, which is where I currently live. Now that I have my CJO and have done a lot more research I’ve realized the odds of me getting PHX straight out of training are zero. That being said, how long after training ends can you transfer, and how long do you think it would take for my transfer to be accepted? I am down to move somewhere new, but I love Arizona and would want to eventually be able to move back here.
