Looking for a new show where I can really connect with the main character’s mindset

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a new series to dive into. Most of the time, I choose what to watch based on the main character's mindset. I like characters who are "cool," highly competent, or have a very specific, intense way of looking at the world. If the main character is compelling enough, I don't mind a long series; otherwise, I prefer something shorter with a tight, interesting story.

I usually struggle with anthology series like Black Mirror (I dropped it after a few seasons) because I prefer following the same characters and building a connection with them over time.
