Cyberdeck first build tips?

Going to take the plunge and start my cyberdeck project. I’ve decided on Raspberry PI since I’m still a beginner and am in the process of collecting ny materials.

For those who have built one, or something similar, what did you wish you would have known when starting? Any tips or tricks are appreciated!
