I got a class two misdemeanor for concealed carry in north carolina

So the other day I got my bikes stolen by some little kid i call the cops and they offered to drive me home, but first they said they had to check my person's to see if I had anything on the me.I told them that i had a firearm in my bag.It was unloaded with the magazine in my pocket.The magazine had six bullets in it i don't know if that's important.I'm 18, so it is legal for me.To have the handgun but They said me having the gun in my bag.Was concealed carrying so they gave me a citation and told me my court data i have never been in any legal trouble before, so I do not know how serious this is and would like to know. If this is going to affect my record and what is going to happen to me?
