I don’t really believe in ghosts. Or at least… I didn’t.
This happened 3 nights ago.
It was around 1:30 AM. I couldn’t sleep, so I went up to the terrace to get some air. My house is in a pretty quiet area, and at night it’s dead silent. No cars, no people… just that weird empty feeling.
I was just scrolling on my phone when I felt like someone was watching me.
You know that feeling? When your brain just goes: “yeah… something’s off.”
I ignored it at first. Thought I was just being paranoid.
Then I noticed the house across mine.
It’s been empty for years. No lights, no people… nothing.
But that night, one of the windows was slightly open.
And I swear—I thought I saw something move inside.
At first I told myself it was just shadows. But I kept staring… and then I saw it again.
Something tall… just standing behind the window.
Not moving.
Just watching.
I don’t know why, but instead of running, I pulled out my phone and zoomed in. My hands were shaking but I took a picture anyway.
The second I took the photo, the thing disappeared.
Like… instantly.
No movement. No walking away. Just gone.
That’s when I actually got scared and went downstairs.
I didn’t check the photo immediately. I didn’t even want to look at it.
The next morning, I finally opened my gallery.
At first, I thought the photo was just dark. But when I increased the brightness…
I felt my stomach drop.
There was definitely something there.
A figure.
Tall… way too tall to be a normal person.
And the worst part?
Its face.
It didn’t have one.
Just a blank, pale shape where the face should be… but somehow it still looked like it was staring directly at me.
I checked again just now.
The window in that house?
It’s closed.
Completely shut.
No one lives there.
I don’t know what I saw.
But last night… I got that same feeling again.
Like something was watching me.
This time… from inside my room.

I photographed a ghost
