Georgetown vs. CMU Physics/Astrophysics

I'm currently torn between the two for my undergrad. Could any current physics/STEM students share their experiences with research, internships, etc.? I've done my own pros and cons lists, but I'm not sure if there are any hyper-specific or nuanced aspects I missed about Georgetown. Especially since a lot of the unique opportunities are through the government--is there any talk on campus about summer internships being cut or anything, etc, because of our current admin?
