my IUD was removed during bisalp surgery and nobody told me

I don't even know what to say. I had my bisalp last Tuesday and today started feeling really bad period cramp like symptoms, which confused me. I know you're not supposed to insert anything for some time after but I just had to know, I washed my hands and yeah my fucking Mirena IUD strings are gone. Nobody told me about this. My mom went to the hospital with me, the surgeon came out to talk to her when i woke up, and didn't fucking tell her either! So not only am I recovering from surgery I get to enjoy and awesome Mirena crash and my first period in over 5 years, which nobody told me to expect.

And my surgeon is only in office on Thursdays and Fridays so I won't even get answers for several days. Im just so upset. I can't do anything about it right now I just needed to complain
