We open-sourced our internal code security scanner. No cloud, no telemetry, runs locally.
Most code security tools we tried had the same problems. They either send your code to external servers, which is not always acceptable, or they flood you with findings that don’t actually matter in real-world scenarios.
Over time, that creates a bigger issue. You either don’t trust the tool, or you start ignoring it completely.
We wanted something different. A scanner that runs fully locally, integrates into CI/CD in minutes, and focuses on vulnerabilities that actually matter in production instead of checking boxes.
No cloud. No telemetry. No sending your code anywhere.
Just fast, local analysis that fits into how developers already work.
We’ve been using it internally and saw a clear difference in signal quality, so we decided to open-source it.
If you’ve dealt with false positives or slow scanners before, We’d be really interested to hear what tools you’re using and what frustrates you the most.
