Delusional boss ruined my day by pissing me off

I work at a very busy movie theatre, specifically at the section where we sell fast food items such as fries, hot dogs, etc. I had an opening shift with another guy and behold! The closing manager in the previous night didn't bother checking whether stuff needed to be pulled from the walk-in freezer into the walk-in fridge to thaw, meaning that in the morning, we had to work with fully frozen food, which is a major inconvenience to us, as since everything was frozen, we had to deal with thawing it ourselves by some very sketchy and time-consuming methods.

For those who follow movies, you probably know that Project Hail Mary with Ryan Gosling is a very popular movie right now and as soon as we opened the doors. People started flooding in and many of them ordered from us. Me and my coworker got absolutely slaughtered by the rush and we had to deal with complaints and other shenanigans without any support from any managers who were just chilling in their office.

Because of the terrible closing job and the immediate rush, we forget to write our temperature checks down for the food in the hot table (nacho cheese, pork, bacon, etc). We always check temperatures when we open to make sure the food is ready, but we just forgot to write them down today.

A couple hours later, after the crowd dies down. One of our managers shows up. He's completely unaware about how busy it was and thinks it's a slow day since he came at a slow time. He doesn't ask us how we're doing or if anything else. The first thing he does is check the temperature sheet and sees that it's empty. Usually you'd expect your manager to simply say "hey guys make sure you do your checks on time" and then go on about their day.

But this manager decides to be a condescending prick about it. He said something along the lines of "What time did we open today guys? 10:30 or 11? It's 1:30 right now guys. You should know better."

When I write it down it doesn't sound too bad, but the way he said it was so condescending and ignorant, that I wanted to blow up in his face and risk getting fired right there. But I kept my cool and explained why we forgot to write them down. In his tiny mind, he thinks we're just lazy and didn't bother doing them.

It turned out by the way that he was the same manager who worked the night before and didn't bother stocking the walk-in fridge. I only saw that manager like twice during my entire 8 hour shift btw.

This useless sack of shit of a manager was the reason why we got killed right when we opened, by not stocking the walk-in fridge with food to thaw overnight. This leads us to forget writing down our temperatures. And two hours after the rush, the first time I see this dumb fuck all day, he decides to make a condescending comment about how we forgot the temperature checks.

I felt like I had to vent about this particular incident, as it was so unnecessary and preventable on the manager's end.
