Can AWD do Lancelin Dunes?

Hello,
I'm planning to go to Lancelin dunes this Easter. I have a Mazda CX-5 with AWD and offroad mode. Just checking if i can drive in the dunes with it? Does anyone try that before? Thanks for the input.
