Thinking of getting the game and I need some questions answered before

I'm coming here from DMC 5 street I lost all my saves due to a bug and didn't want to play the entire game over again so I thought I should try something different. DMC 5 is the only other action game I've played apart from Bayonetta(which I quit soon side I found it too hard to play) cause these were the only 2 games that had good keyboard and mouse controls. Now my question is, does Lollipop Chainsaw control well on Mouse and keyboard or should I start looking for something else again?

Oh, and as someone who comes from DMC 5 what should I not expect to be the same in Repop? You know apart from now having lock on that is
