NO to De Zerbi

u/SpursOfficial - It is common knowledge that as manager of Olympique de Marseille, Roberto De Zerbi defended and continued to give minutes to Mason Greenwood, who despite never being sentenced, has a multitude of photo and audio evidence against him showing him perpetuating physical, verbal and sexual violence against his girlfriend Harriet Robson.

By pushing for this appointment, the club appears to condone the defense of violent criminals and those who perform it. As a club with a large female fanbase, the potential appointment of De Zerbi shows that the club would allow into the fold any player in similar circumstances, and is a slap in the face to those whom have suffered violence against them.

While I don't have other social media channels on which to post, I'm using this opportunity to say NO to the potential appointment of Roberto De Zerbi. With enough traction, the club will listen, just as they bowed to fan pressure over the appointment of Gennaro Gattuso. We send out a clear message - we will not tolerate violence, and those who defend it. We care about the safety of women and girls. We are better, both as a football club, and as people.
