DS vs 3DS

Most people when they compare the two will go off of hardware limitations, choice of games, etc.

For me, I really just think Nintendo hit their stride with the 3ds when they stopped putting so much of the gameplay on the bottom screen. Bottom screen is so much more useful for UI than gameplay such as spirit tracks or wild world. The DS honestly could have won in my book had it not been so experimental. But it lead to the 3ds which is 👌so I can’t complain…both great consoles.
