My parents found out that I (17 F) drink, what do i do

to give context i don’t drink as much as my peers, but i still social drink occasionally. Dating back to last summer i drank 3-4 times and i took a long break of 7 months. I already am aware of my limits and will never get black out drunk. I don’t really like the smell of alcohol nor do i enjoy drinking that much. Last couple times i drank I had left two empty boxes and 3 left over cans in a backpack within my closet. Over this weekend I went on a church retreat and my mom took that time to deep clean my siblings and I’s rooms. So this led to her finding out about the 3 cans and empty boxes. She had called my sister up asking for answers, accusing, and contemplating with my father. My family does have a long line of alcohol abuse but I am not particularly fond of the taste of alcohol nor do I feel dependent on it. However I know that’s not an excuse. But they had accused me of drinking and driving and all of this other stuff but my sister denied everything on my behalf. So on the last day of the retreat my sister texted me telling me what had gone on and told me to prepare myself. My parents had picked me up and everything seemed normal. The entire day was normal and they hadn’t said a word about the situation to me. They do still have the alcohol in their possession but they haven’t addressed anything and I don’t even know if they know I know. What is the best plan of action here? Also I don’t want my parents to think i’m going to throw my entire life away because of some summer drinking, so how do i go about this?
