Are we just ignoring Gia's abuse? What if the roles were reversed?

Scott brought up (hyperventilating and already crying) that he is struggling to communicate with Gia bc of his fear of how she will react. Calling him names, verbally absuing and insulting him.....

If the roles were reversed and a woman said she was afraid to tell her husband something bc he becomes aggressive and verbally abusive, we would have so much hate on them (yes there is hate on Gia but not in the same way).

Then she had the audacity to say EXACTLY what Scott said but from her POV. Like she couldn't talk to him bc of HER need for conflict....

This show is really brushing over things that need to be set out as unacceptable.
