Not sure what to feel about the ending/reveal

SpoilerDiscussion:ghostface:

To start, I enjoyed the movie overall.

but after that killer reveal, I can only think about how they should've rather actually brought Stu back, as that would've have made for a much better, almost conspiracy-like story.

to me, the killer reveal felt so random and out of place. when Ghostface1 took his mask off, I didn't even know who that was at first.

In all past Scream movies, the Killers where at least somewhat connected to the main character(s) or their past.

A random psychiatric worker with less than 5 minutes screentime plus a woman who read Sidney's book, also roughly 5 mins screentime max. being the killers? Took a lot of impact for me. Feels like a random twist just for the sake of a twist.

As of now, the weakest movie overall for me and a hilariously bad killer reveal (and that even with S3 existing).

But being the worst movie of the franchise for me doesn't mean it's a bad movie in general. Whenever my Scream rewatch is due, I will gladly include 7. Just wanted to have some opinions on this.

Sidenote: Who tf casted Ben? Dude looks 35
