Looking for cool place recommendations

Hi there!! I'm taking two my friends to iron City comic con Friday through Sunday, I've been too Birmingham multiple times with my family however this is my FIRST solo trip with my friends!! We have a few places in mind that we'd like to visit but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a few niche or nerdy places for us to go to!! Restaurant & Cafes recommendations are also welcomed!!
