Hi everyone!

I want to introduce OpenWRC, an open-source WRC data toolkit for the rally nerds 🏁

β†’ Full split & stage timings for every stage of every rally since 2018

β†’ Progression charts showing exactly where gaps opened and positions changed

β†’ Relive any rally from the past few seasons β€” the drama, the charges, the retirements

β†’ pick your year and event, one-liner command to load the dashboard!

Live timing streaming in the works πŸ‘€

Check out the project here:

This community has done amazing work to democratize access to rally data, shoutout to the the recent work seen here with much more comprehensive data collection.

One of the main goals of OpenWRC is to futher encourage this community collaboration effort. I'm no expert in data analysis, I'm just trying to create an open source alternative to the limited visualizations provided to us on the live broadcasts and wrc website.

So I'm gonna need your help! Please comment any feedback on what kind of visualization you'd love to see but is currently missing from live broadcasts!

Thanks :)
