I cant receive or send invites

I was playing solo but then I forgot to change it back to public, I then joined a lobby somehow with solo mode still on (I wasnt aware it was still on until after the match), now for some reason, no matter what I do, I cant receive or send invites, it just says "could not deliver invite", I tried restarting my game hoping it would fix it but then another issue arose, everytime I restart the game, it automatically sets my thingy to solo mode, even if I set it to public before restarting, whenever I open the game it's set to solo and I still cant get invites, and yes I've tried changing it from solo to public but it still doesnt let me invite or receive, I think my entire account is bugged now.
