AMA I got 9.0 bands in IELTS and got my visa approved as an international student from the Philippines, here's my experience.

I never thought I’d get a top score, but after lots of practice and learning from my mistakes, I managed to achieve a 9.0 overall. Preparing for IELTS was challenging, especially while balancing school and other responsibilities, but staying consistent and focused made it possible.

The key for me was practicing every day, reflecting on what went wrong, and focusing on clarity over complexity especially in Writing. Speaking was easier once I got used to talking naturallyand confidently, even if it meant practicing alone in front of a mirror.
