Has anyone right after their degree?
Idk if I should ask this in this sub because it's teachers in transition but it's so stupid I feel like I was better off buying a luxury car or spending a year living in Ibiza backpacking. I worked for 6-7 years in an office after my non-teaching undergrad and then got accepted into an MEd. I have retired teachers in my family and I'll be months away from turning 30 after graduating this year which means I really have to get it together.
I'm on my final semester student placement and I HATE IT. I'm mostly teaching elementry and the behaviour issues are way too crazy and on one of my placements they had me helping with cleaning. I don't want to get into it too much but I couldnt leave this program as it was only a year and they wouldn't refund the fees. I also didn't know what to do leaving it. I'm considering working in teaching a year or just taking the first thing I get and working there.
