Can you do a monochrome filter with screen color vfx?

I saw a moveset use a monochrome filter on the screen for a few seconds, but trying to make it with white and black screen color vfx blocks is genuinely impossible. Just adding a screencolor block will only add a small tint and not actually change the screen into monochrome. just asking if anyone knows the method.
