Withdrawing before census date gap year

Hi guys, I just dropped out before the census date, I completed year 12 last year, would this still make me a school leaver or would it make me a non-school leaver? Also do I have to mention anything when applying for uni again this year (wanted to change my course but my previous uni didn’t offer it and transferring was harder to do) as in applying to VTAC etc? Thanks. ps im not from la trobe, I am applying for next years intake
