Figuring out my Surgery

Advice

I completely tore, severed?, my ACL back in September. Due to a blood clot that didn't get cleared until January.

I told myself I would research ACL construction more and vet out some doctors during that time. But I think mentally I just have been putting this off. As well most of you know, getting into fights with doors got old (I hate crutches).

What I currently think I want, is an autograph from the patellar tendon. I'm 39M and would like to continue to be active for at least a decade or more. Knock on wood.

Curious how you decided on what surgery to get and what surgeon to go with. Seems like a daunting task picking someone to cut me open.

How did you go about fixing your bum knee? How did you pick your doc? Did you even vet them out?
