Questions for longer term widows

How are you doing? What have you changed in your life? What have you kept in your life that mattered to your partner? How’s it going with dating?

I’m doing pretty good 4.5 years out. Bought a house across the street from the ocean for $35k. Yeah, it needs some work. I started school again and will graduate in one quarter with a degree finally. I joined Junior League so I can make some new lady friends (I’m female). I kept the gardening and watching news hobbies. Plus just trying random projects. I’m currently turning my side yard into a food forest. My dating life is a joke. Online dating is the pits. I’m pretty happy by myself now.

Posting this to see how folks are. I see so many new widow posts and I was hoping we could show up with some good news.
