Compression Molding Nylon

Topic is the question. I've got a part where I'm looking at ignoring traditional wisdom and looking at either compression or transfer molding for Nylon 6 or 6/6 with some glass fill.

It's a big, flat with some with features that make it ideal for molding over milling but I'm always hesitant to injection mold such large, flat parts.

any input or thoughts would be awesome.
