Rant

I get migraines quite frequently and for the most part am able to manage with darkness and ibuprofen and occasionally espalgin which I’ve run out of and not had a chance to renew my script. Last night/this morning I had my worst one ever pain wise I was completely writhing in pain and could not find a single thing to soothe my pain so I went to urgent care only to be told by the doctor there that I “slept wrong” and that’s why my neck was stiff and informed to continue on with ibuprofen. I spent 2 hours in a waiting room with fluorescent lighting, had to fill out a form on my phone in a loud waiting room to be told I slept wrong despite telling the doctor I get migraines often and the reason I’m here is because ibuprofen is not working and I didn’t sleep last night. I know the lighting and the forms and volume of a waiting room can’t be avoided but the fact I put myself in a situation full of things that worsen my migraine to be dismissed has absolutely crushed me. As a result I’ve managed to find some expired oxycodone from when I got my wisdom teeth removed years ago and taken this. I just need to rant about this because I feel so let down and like my pain wasn’t taken seriously at all.
