Does vindicta ult have bad hit reg or am I just missing?

Its just weird, the feedback feels off cause there's so many shots where I'm trying to figure out how they didnt land, the tracer seems to perfectly pass through their body. I dont usually have this experience in deadlock, most of the time if I miss it feels like I fucked up but on vin sometimes it feels like Im fighting the video game to land a hit.
