Does DSA allow (welcome?) justice involved people?

I am a working-class, justice involved individual who also wants to change the way our economy works. I have the sense that DSA is maybe a middle class org that may not welcome someone with my background. Being a felon is scary to many middle class people. I don't know of another left org in the US that seems as organized as DSA, so that is attractive. Is there a policy about this one way or another? Thank you.
