Common ratio for buying adm pets?

Hello everyone! I came across a couple potential sellers and would just like to ask what ratio is normally used for buying pets ranging from low-tiered pets to high-tiered pets, and exotics. Is the 1:0.3-1:0.4 ratios most commonly used? Thank you so much!
