[RANT] PC/Setup building has been an absolute pain and I never want to do it again.
Hello everyone. I come to you bringing a quite negative post today, and I apologize. But after coming home to another broken piece of equipment AGAIN, I am completely and utterly defeated.
Today I came home to my >1 month old asus rog strix xg32wcms flashing random colours on the screen and being broken. I have just RMA'd it but I am utterly sick and tired of having to FIX MY STUFF.
From having to replace a BRAND NEW CPU, having to replace A BRAND NEW SSD, rebuilding my PC MULTIPLE TIMES because it just REFUSES to work, to having to replace my mouse because THE SCROLL WHEEL BROKE... Aaaand now this.
I have experienced so much of this. While I haven't lost too much time, I haven't caught a single break since I built my PC a little under a month ago. WHY is it so hard? WHY does everything keep breaking on me? WHY cant I just play my games?
I was even moving my fan a few days ago, and while moving it the cable snapped off and shorted the entire upstairs of my house. LUCKLY I have protections for this but what on EARTH is going on right now???
I wanted to ask lads, is it just me? Is this what building and maintaining a setup is meant to feel like? I went from excited to tinker to being too scared to even pop the side panel of my PC off lest I BREAK SOMETHING ELSE.
Thanks all!
