Long-term relationships

I don’t get how some couples stay together for years. Like, what keeps them from leaving or hurting each other?

Especially now, most relationships don’t even seem worth it and cheating is so common… so how do some people still feel the same after 10 or 20 years? Like, is there a secret or something?
