Christchurch Metro

Metro Christchurch have a lot of work to do with he service they offer. Most of their drivers I've interacted with are rude and impatient. The quality of driving is horrendous and many need to re-sit their driving tests. The amount of times I have witness elderly, disabled, parents with young children and prams get jolted by the bus taking off before they even get to their set is more than I can count on my fingers and toes. Buses are either late or early and when they do arrive early they take off after a very short stop, even driving off well before the time they are meant to arrive. Majority of them can't keep a consistent speed, pumping the acceleration every 5 seconds causing you to feel very nauseous. Lastly many of the drivers have no human decency, many times I have witness drivers not stopping to pick people up who are a very short 30 seconds away from the bus stop whilst they wave the driver down. This is especially disheartening to see when it's elderly being affected, I have called out drivers on this many times however their reason is that the person should have been at the stop sooner(maybe if the buses stuck to their schedule it may not be a problem). I will say that there are very good bus drivers out there who are decent and kind hearted human beings, but they do not make up the majority of Christchurch metro. I would not expect top notch service or any positive and effective change anytime soon. Christchurch Metro, do better.
