Same story as everyone else, so I went searching on how to get this thing to work.

As you can see from the videos this took me about 5 minutes. What is the situation here?
NEC/TOKIN capacity failure? Every attempt at turning the console on is charging the capacitors incrementally until there is enough power to run the console?
