UPDATE : AITAH for telling my MIL to go fuck herself

UPDATE :

Hey guys i have no idea if that’s how you update , and no idea if anyone is reading it anyways , but here we go

the incident of my post happened at around 9 am sunday , at around 6 pm his family called him , and the following happened

His mother called , and said that we need to talk , I agreed, thinking it would just be his parents.

GUYS ALLLL showed up with ALL FOUR of his siblings.

It immediately felt like an intervention but i had hope that the siblings talked some sense into her and came idk

My MIL started crying and saying she was “just joking,” while my FIL stayed completely quiet the whole time.

The worst part was his sister (who used to be my best friend). She went off on me, saying I disrespected their mom and that I’ve “changed” and become “hostile.”

Then the conversation turned into “concern” about me.

They said I seem overwhelmed, too emotional, and “not myself lately.” Then his sister suggested that their mom should keep my boys for a while , she even suggested that i pump my milk and give it to her so she can feed the newborn

I looked at my husband expecting him to shut it down, but he just said, “They’re worried. You to admit you are not ok .”

That honestly hurt the most.

i told them that not only im handing my children over , they are not seeing them until i say so , thats insanely disrespectful coming to my home DEMANDING my kids

and then , his mother told me that any judge will give her custody, that i worked too much and was too unstable , she literally said , in suing you for grandparents rights

now people , is this how it works ? can she do it ? and was the outburst intentional so she can say i’m crazy ? help im getting scared , and my husband is on their side… he thinks its the “best” for now , im about to break down , as im writing this
