Anybody who knows about the Spanish Film Industry?

I am an avid watcher of Spanish films especially those of Pedro Almodovar. I love Paz Vega, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. I’ve always wondered what it’s like to enter the Spanish film industry but as a foreigner and that too as someone of South Asians descent I am doubtful of the availability of roles to act in. Are there any Spanish cinephiles or those very knowledgeable about the Spanish film industry that could give me more info?
