piercing ball won’t come off.

i’ve had my now fully healed belly button pierced for almost 2 years and have never changed the jewelry because i haven’t wanted to until recently, the only problem is the ball will not come off. i’ve tried unscrewing both the top and bottom balls with just my hands, gloves, pliers, i’ve had other people try to help but neither ball will budge. this is not a problem i’ve had with any of my other piercings and i have 8 not including my navel. getting to a piercing shop is a little difficult because of proximity but if that’s my only option here i’m willing to do it. i’m just tired of having plain silver jewelry and tired of fighting my belly button jewelry from hell. thank you all so much in advance for the help!!
