Tempered glass or paper feel for tablet? worried about my pencil tip

Hi, I am trying to decide between tempered glass and paper feel for my tablet, and I feel a bit stuck. I have been using paper feel for a while, but it gets scratched up so easily and my

pencil tip wears down faster than I expected. That is why I am thinking of switching to tempered glass. It looks clearer and smoother, and I feel like it might last longer. But someone at a store told me it could damage my pencil over time, and now I am unsure. I use my tablet alot for notes and drawing, so I dont want to make the wrong choice. I have seen different tempered glass options discussed in supplier specs from online ads and also some reviews online and people seem split. If you use tempered glass with your pencil, does it feel okay? Does it wear down the tip faster or is that not really a problem?
