Should I play my Sibling or a Stranger after my current character vanished thanks to the deck of many things.
In the current campaign that we are doing, my party encountered a deck of many things. I drew the card that essentially traps me in a bubble and sends me away. Due to plot reasons and wanting to play another character for the time being, I ask the party not rescue me unless they find me organically in thw world, where ever it is. But I don't know who to replace with them for the time being. Either way I'm playing a Twilight cleric, but I need another opinion on who it should be.
Option 1 is the little sister of the original character. She would be more of an innocent fish-out of water character due to her being a sheltered daughter of a drow matriarch. A religious follower of lolth who feels the pressure to worship her and become a religious leader, but she has doubts on the matter.
Option 2 would be a tiefling worshipper of Shar who would be more of a lawful evil alignment, which could be interesting in how he interacts with a mostly good party. Purposefully went with lawful over chaotic so he'd actually have a bit more of a reason to work with the group.
I'm a little on the fence cause both characters have pros and cons to playing them. What are your thoughts on the matter?
