Dhurandhar - Peak cinema with the shittiest fanbase
The movie Dhurandhar is undeniably a cinematic triumph, blending gripping storytelling, powerful performances, and stunning visuals into an experience that stays with the audience long after the credits roll. Its direction and emotional depth deserve genuine appreciation, and it’s easy to see why it has inspired such a passionate fanbase. However, that passion sometimes crosses a line, with certain fans becoming overly defensive or hostile toward any form of criticism. This toxicity can overshadow the film’s achievements, turning healthy discussion into unnecessary conflict. While Dhurandhar itself stands tall as a remarkable piece of cinema, its true legacy would shine even brighter if its admirers embraced open-mindedness and allowed others to engage with the film in their own way
If anyone doesn't like dhurandhar he is suddenly a pakistani or an aunty-national,the fandom used to be cinephiles who loved dhurandhar for its craft now its just neckbeards & BJP dickriders who will go out of there way to call films like - My name is Khan & Mulk propanganda since they show muslims in a good light and consider dhurandhar their holy grail even while its format seems half inspired from black friday.
No disrespect to Aditya Dhar he is, was & will be my GOAT (Unless he follows the career trajectory of RGV & Anurag) but dhurandhar deserves better fan than those in r/Dhurandhar
