Will I have permanent nerve damage?
Hi all,
Had long Covid, then got too experimental on some b vitamins, and other things, malabsorption from long Covid. Nerve damage in feet and brain from it all. It’s slowly healing back from B12.
I’ve been treating b12 deficiency for like 3 years though, and yeah it used to be a million times worse. It is still very much going on…
What gets weirder is I really don’t know how I became deficient asides from the malabsorption of long Covid.
I absorb b12 just fine from food and have eaten meat all of my life.
Anyways I googled it and it says that nerve damage present over a year on diagnosis of b12 has a good chance of becoming permanent and irreversible..
So, am I going to have this forever? Or are there people who have recovered.
