I spend all day around people, yet I’ve never felt more invisible

I’ve always been the type to observe people. Not in a weird way, just… I notice things. It’s part of my personality.

Lately I’ve been driving 8–12 hours a day, mostly in silence. And I don’t know if anyone else feels this, but it really messes with your head after a while.

You start noticing how glued people are to their phones. Like completely locked in. And you’re just… there. Not even a person to them. Just part of the car.

They’ll talk about the most personal stuff—relationships, money, family drama—like you don’t exist. No filter, no hesitation. It’s like you’re invisible.

And I don’t know… something about that feels off.

After a while, you start thinking too much. Like, how did I end up here? How did I become this background character in people’s lives? Just another ride from point A to point B.

I’m not saying I hate it. It’s a job. It’s a step. Maybe even a way out.

But it does something to you mentally.

You start feeling like a ghost in your own life. And at the same time, you realize how disconnected everyone else is too. Like we’re all just… somewhere else, not really present.

Idk. Just something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.
