Psychologist recommendations for a mum whose child has just been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy

Where to find

Hey all,.

My 13 month old has just been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and I am struggling mentally. I want to be a good parent to her and I know I can't without help.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a psychologist that deals with this kind of thing? First time parents who are going through a recent diagnosis like this? I am trying to find support groups as well, but even suggestions for these would be helpful.

Thank you.
