Does the game auto save before getting wear & where

I didn’t know tapping the thought bubble would immediately trigger wear and where to appear, but I don’t want to lobotomize my miis 😭 so I was wondering if I could quit the game to undo that action of me tapping the thought bubble… but I don’t wanna lose my third mii. So does anyone know when it last auto saves?
