Is it possible to backup your switch games legally?

I know there’s {probably breaks a rule or two} ways to rip it, but I am genuinely curious if there’s a proper way for the switch, or any other Nintendo console, to rip the game so you can legally emulate it on other devices (I am working on a video about this topic, literally for research purposes lol)
