Niche market volatility is bleeding into our systemic risk. How are you guys capping the exposure?

We’ve been seeing some red flags lately in our minor markets. Even small inflows are causing the odds to swing wildly, or worse, triggering temporary trading halts. It’s the classic shallow liquidity pool problem a few lopsided positions in a niche market end up threatening our entire system’s risk threshold.

The structural vulnerability is real when your liquidity isn't deep enough to absorb the shock. To fight this, we’ve moved away from just "blacklisting" these markets. Instead, we’re trying to sync volatility indexes for each market with our overall debt/exposure in real-time.

We’ve actually been implementing a logic with Lumix Solution to dynamically adjust exposure limits based on these real-time shifts. It’s helping us stay fluid, but finding that sweet spot between keeping the market profitable and keeping the system stable is a constant battle.

For those of you managing multi-market platforms, what specific data points are you watching most closely to prevent niche volatility from becoming a systemic disaster? Are you using automated "circuit breakers" based on volume-to-liquidity ratios, or something more complex?
