Orchiectomy wait times went up while I was on the waiting list, this happen to anyone else?

Around 1 and a half ish years ago I spoke to my HRT doctor about getting an orchiectomy. I was told itd take about a 12-18 months. A year and a bit passes, I ask about it and then I'm told it's over 2 years. Asked about it 6 months later and still over 2 years. I could've had the operation by now but because Healthcare keeps getting worse it got delayed by a significant amount. I feel honestly defeated and like it'll never happen at this point. Did anyone else go through this and is there any way at all to speed the process up? Paying for it out of pocket is not an option as I'm on income support unfortunately.
