does this mean someone has an account with my phone number?

i dont have a paypal account, but i got a text from the official paypal thing (72975) saying "PayPal: Thanks for checking out. Next time, use your face, fingerprint, or passkey to log in faster with the PayPal app." with a link that brings me to the app store to download paypal, this could just be a super smart fake text but i find it odd that everything is legit.
