Doubt regarding Impersonal Orientation in Causality orientations theory

I am able to understand Autonomy and Control, but how an Impersonal Orientation actually manifests in daily decision-making?
I'm unable to differentiate between someone 'believing in luck/destiny/fate' and it being a core motivational framework.
Can we say a person with impersonal motivation is Pessimistic in nature?
