Need insurnace reimbursement help

hey guys

I have been paying insurance premiums from 16 years and when I actually needed it it got denied

so I have the insurance policy from hdfc but in 2025 I ported it to Niva bupa because I wasn't able to afford the premium.

we paid the premium and all but in jan 2026 I had blood in my urine. so I booked a test nd it showed concerning amount of blood in urine

so we went to doctor nd he ordered tests such as ultrasound xray and ct scan

we did tht the tests show Calculus deposits and a stone stuck in the urterr.. mind u in the decade I never had any kind of issue

we went to holy Family hospital... doctor schedule us for the dj stent procedure. our cashless claim was approved by the niva bupa but at the time of discharge they declined the claim

nd they were of absolute no usee... they asked to pay out of our pocket and said ki u should hve arranged beforehand our bill was around 1,40,000.

they asked to go for reimbursement

after two months of giving them all the documents they rejected our claim.

so guys how should I approach this.. any help will be appreciated!
